Engagement Photography for Ariel & Cliff
Ariel and Cliff came to Artistic Vision & Design Studio with a fun, vintage look in mind to capture their Engagement Session. Ariel expressed to us how important it was to photograph her and her fiancé Cliff with a timeless, young, yet fresh, fun, and innocent look. We looked around for different locations finally coming across an intimate outdoor setting that was just perfect (our perfect little secret). Well rested, we arrived on scene one early Saturday morning filled with anticipation to travel back in time…. no passport stamps needed, just a time machine. Hand in hand were Ariel and Cliff, resembling a couple ripped right from the pages of “Woman’s Own” magazine from the 1950’s, of course, with their own personal modern touch.
The AVD team usually likes to start our couples of with traditional poses to get the couple comfortable in front of the camera; which ironically wasn’t needed for Ariel and Cliff. Talk about R-E-A-D-Y (and prepared)! They were both extremely happy and excited to finally shoot their engagement session knowing that it was one step closer to their Wedding Day. For them it was becoming surreal. An ivory long lace dress perfectly fit our soon to be bride (not too tight, not too lose), while our soon to be groom dressed with pastel pants accented with his Ben Hogan hat…. the ideal vintage look! Their second look still kept with the theme they envisioned for their engagement photography session; the classic white dress for the Mrs. and a nicely fitted suit (sans the jacket) for the Mr. (soon to be).
Ariel and Cliff really thought our their engagement session photos which made it effortless on our behalf to add extra touches here and there. We strive to provide our clients with a variety of portraits and make their session a memorable one. This particular session was not only memorable for them… but us as well and we are so honored they chose AVD to capture such a milestone. We also want to take the time to especially congratulate them on their recent Wedding. They are OFFICIALLY Mr. and Mrs.
