Night time Engagement Photography | Rute + Davidson
“My engagement session was a mixture of themes. When we first discussed it, both Davidson and I wanted to go for two separate things. I wanted a fun theme with a park, swings, carousel and he was looking for more of a vintage and old school look. Our photographer suggested merging the two themes and it just clicked. What I love most about the session is that it reveals both our personalities and the things we like to do and what we would like to portray of our relationship. The night and day and different mixed themes reveals us as unorthodox and flexible which is a great mirror of what we truly are as a couple.”
Rute and Davidson’s relationship was more than one of two love birds; but more like best friends since the first day they met in high school. As time passed by they drifted for a short period of time finding themselves back together again. From their first date at the movie theaters watching X-Men, to their first kiss… they knew they were soulmates. When we asked the couple what were some of their favorite things to do her response was “Wait, was I suppose to say a candle light dinner?”. It’s very uncommon for us to find couples who actually enjoy recreational activities like bowling and playing pool, but they do and thats exactly why the words “best friend” is fitting. Join us on their journey with their engagement love story video and portrait session we had a pleasure in shooting at Bayside in Miami, FL.
“After rekindling our relationship in the summer of 2011; he proposed to me on Valentine’s Day of the year 2014. The proposal was very unorthodox and filled with joy and merriment. I accidentally boshed what was meant to be a surprise by accidentally finding my ring nicely placed in a piece of chocolate in a heart shaped box, among a bundle of roses. Even though the proposal did not go exactly as Davidson planned, it meant the world to me because I knew the thought and care he put into surprising me.”
